Tango duo Buenos is formed by guitarist Alvaro and tango singer Mirre – an excellent interpreter of the Tango:

They’ve made a wonderful CD in Buenos Aires as a result of years of collaboration, research and performance in countries such as the Netherlands, Russia, France, Spain and of course Argentina.

Terruño

Mirre Valkenburg (1983) has specialized during her Bachelor’s degree in Latin Singing at Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam in various South American musical styles. Her focus is now mainly on tango and Argentinian folklore. She gained experience as guest singer of tango orchestra OTRA and sang with several other formations, such as Trio Xaramundi and Choro de Maas. She spent most of 2010 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she got lessons from, among others, Sandra Luna, Lidia Borda, Gabriel Menendez (former singer Sexteto Canyengue) and pianist Matías Álvarez.
