Mirabeau String Quartet – pop music in classical instrumentation

String Quartet Mirabeau is a special ladies string ensemble that plays pop songs in the classic line-up of a string quartet: Cello, viola, 1st and 2nd violin.
This women’s string quartet was founded by Annelieke Marselje, one of the violinists. Thanks to her years of experience working in the classical and pop worlds, she has now built this Pop String collective around her, on which she and three other string players form the basis.

A special string quartet, which can also perform in a smaller line-up if that suits you better.
These relatively young, but experienced talents show that a ‘stroke’ can really be very exciting, modern and ‘cool’. When they play, guests will be surprised by the unique repertoire of this enthusiastic string quartet: POP songs!
