From top athlete to top artist in (ground) acrobatics!

After the 2003 World Cup, Renske decided to retire from top sport. She then started creating special show acts to perform with. Soon Renske was approached by a renowned acrobatic theater company where she started training in all kinds of circus disciplines. Within half a year she was ready to work within this team in performances. Many performances at home and abroad followed. Renske has been performing with her own solo acts since 2003. Her impressive performances in air and ground acrobatics have since been used as part of official openings, corporate events, (theatre) performances, concerts and many other events. Renske’s passion for acrobatics and gymnastics started at the age of 5 at the gym association DVV in Noord-Scharwoude. After having enjoyed gymnastics here for a few years, her talent was noticed by top gymnastics coaches and that is how she rolled into the world of top sport.
