Bandoneonist of this acoustic tango duo, Santiago, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was already at a young age active as a guitarist in various bands , and studied classical piano at the conservatory. In recent years he has been much in demand as a guest bandoneonist, and has played with, among others, the Argentinian Orquesta Tipica Fernandez Fierro, Alfredo Marcucci’s Sexteto Veritango, Tango Dorado. This Argentine bandoneonist regularly performs in the Dutch tango scene, with which he has performed in most tango schools and milongas in recent years.
He also performs regularly at bandoneon solo concerts, and since 2005 he is often invited to play as a soloist for Luis Bacalov’s Misa Tango, with symphony orchestra and choir.
Together with the National Youth Orchestra he performed Kurt Weill’s Kleine Dreigroschenmusik, with conductor Etienne Siebens.
